حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَكُنَّا نُصَلِّي الْمَغْرِبَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ نَرْمِي فَيَرَى أَحَدُنَا مَوْضِعَ نَبْلِهِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Dawud bin Syabib] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hammad] dari [Tsabit Al Bunani] dari [Anas bin Malik] dia berkata; Kami pernah shalat Maghrib bersama Nabi Shallallahu alaihi wasallam, kemudian kami memanah, ketika itu salah seorang dari kami masih dapat melihat tempat anak panahnya.

Imam Abu Dawud compiled Sunan Abu Dawud from approximately 500,000 hadiths, selecting 5,274. His collection is particularly focused on fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and legal rulings. He personally wrote to Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal informing him of the work, and received his approval.
Abu Dawud said: 'I wrote 500,000 hadiths of the Prophet ﷺ, then selected this book from them.' He focused especially on rulings related to halal and haram.
