حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ قَالَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي الْمَغْرِبَ سَاعَةَ تَغْرُبُ الشَّمْسُ إِذَا غَابَ حَاجِبُهَا
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Amru bin Ali] dari [Shafwan bin Isa] dari [Yazid bin Abu Ubaid] dari [Salamah bin Al Akwa'] dia berkata; Nabi Shallallahu alaihi wasallam shalat Maghrib pada saat matahari tenggelam ketika penghalangnya telah menghilang.

Imam Abu Dawud compiled Sunan Abu Dawud from approximately 500,000 hadiths, selecting 5,274. His collection is particularly focused on fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and legal rulings. He personally wrote to Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal informing him of the work, and received his approval.
Abu Dawud said: 'I wrote 500,000 hadiths of the Prophet ﷺ, then selected this book from them.' He focused especially on rulings related to halal and haram.
