حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ مُخَوَّلِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ الْبَطِينِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ تَنْزِيلُ السَّجْدَةَ وَهَلْ أَتَى عَلَى الْإِنْسَانِ حِينٌ مِنْ الدَّهْرِحَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ مُخَوَّلٍ بِإِسْنَادِهِ وَمَعْنَاهُ وَزَادَ فِي صَلَاةِ الْجُمُعَةِ بِسُورَةِ الْجُمُعَةِ وَإِذَا جَاءَكَ الْمُنَافِقُونَ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Musaddad] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu 'Awanah] dari [Mukhawwal bin Rasyid] dari [Muslim Al Bathin] dari [Sa'id bin Jubair] dari [Ibnu Abbas] bahwa dalam shalat shubuh di hari Jum'at, Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam membaca suraj As Sajdah dan HAL ATAA 'ALAL INSAAN HIINUM MINAD DAHRI (surat Al insan)." Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Musaddad] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yahya] dari [Syu'bah] dari [Mukhawwal] dengan sanad dan maksud yang sama. Dia menambahkan; "dalam shalat Jum'at, beliau membaca surat Al Jum'at dan "IDZAA JAA`AKAL MUNAAFIQUUN (surat Al Munafiqun)."

Imam Abu Dawud compiled Sunan Abu Dawud from approximately 500,000 hadiths, selecting 5,274. His collection is particularly focused on fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and legal rulings. He personally wrote to Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal informing him of the work, and received his approval.
Abu Dawud said: 'I wrote 500,000 hadiths of the Prophet ﷺ, then selected this book from them.' He focused especially on rulings related to halal and haram.
