حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو ضَمْرَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَسَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْهَى عِنِ الصَّلَاةِ عِنْدَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَعِنْدَ غُرُوبِهَا
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibrahim bin Al Mundzir] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Dhamrah] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Musa bin 'Uqbah] dari [Nafi'] bahwa ['Abdullah radliallahu 'anhu] berkata; "Aku mendengar Nabi Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam melarang shalat ketika matahari sedang terbit dan ketika sedang terbenam".

Imam al-Bukhari dedicated 16 years to compiling Sahih al-Bukhari, selecting approximately 7,275 hadiths from over 600,000 narrations he examined. His strict conditions for accepting a hadith — requiring narrator continuity, reliable memory, and confirmed meeting between narrators — make it the most rigorously authenticated hadith collection in Islamic scholarship.
Imam al-Bukhari would perform ghusl and pray two rak'ahs before recording each hadith. Sahih al-Bukhari is universally regarded as the most authentic book after the Quran.
