حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ النَّجَاشِيَّ قَدْ مَاتَ فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَصْحَابُهُ إِلَى الْبَقِيعِ فَصَفَّنَا خَلْفَهُ وَتَقَدَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعَ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakar bin Abu Syaibah] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdul A'la] dari [Ma'mar] dari [Az Zuhri] dari [Sa'id Ibnul Musayyab] dari [Abu Hurairah] bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Raja Najasyi telah meninggal. " Kemudian Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam dan para sahabatnya keluar menuju Baqi', kami membuat shaf di belakangnya sementara Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam maju ke depan dan bertakbir empat kali. "

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
