حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى وَذَلِكَ فِي رَمَضَانَ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Isma'il] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada saya [Malik] dari [Ibnu Syihab] dari ['Urwah bin Az Zubair] dari ['Aisyah radliallahu 'anha] isteri Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam mendirikan shalat. Dan itu pada bulan Ramadhan.

Imam al-Bukhari dedicated 16 years to compiling Sahih al-Bukhari, selecting approximately 7,275 hadiths from over 600,000 narrations he examined. His strict conditions for accepting a hadith — requiring narrator continuity, reliable memory, and confirmed meeting between narrators — make it the most rigorously authenticated hadith collection in Islamic scholarship.
Imam al-Bukhari would perform ghusl and pray two rak'ahs before recording each hadith. Sahih al-Bukhari is universally regarded as the most authentic book after the Quran.
