حَدَّثَنَا جَمِيلُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْعَتَكِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ الْعُقَيْلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تُزَوِّجُ الْمَرْأَةُ الْمَرْأَةَ وَلَا تُزَوِّجُ الْمَرْأَةُ نَفْسَهَا فَإِنَّ الزَّانِيَةَ هِيَ الَّتِي تُزَوِّجُ نَفْسَهَا
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Jamil bin Al Hasan Al 'Ataki] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Marwan Al 'Uqaili] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hisyam bin Hassan] dari [Muhamamad bin Sirin] dari [Abu Hurairah] ia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Perempuan tidak boleh menikahkan perempuan dan tidak boleh seorang perempuan menikahkan dirinya sendiri, karena sesungguhnya wanita pezina itu adalah wanita yang menikahkan dirinya sendiri."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
