حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَتَحَ اللَّهُ مِنْ رَدْمِ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ مِثْلَ هَذَا وَعَقَدَ بِيَدِهِ تِسْعِينَ
English Translation
Telah bercerita kepada kami [Muslim bin Ibrahim] telah bercerita kepada kami [Wuhaib] telah bercerita kepada kami [Ibnu Thawus] dari [bapaknya] dari [Abu Hurairah radliallahu 'anhu] dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Allah membuka benteng Ya'juj dan Ma'juj seperti ini". Beliau mengilustrasikannya dengan tangan Beliau yang maksudnya sembilan puluh.

Imam al-Bukhari dedicated 16 years to compiling Sahih al-Bukhari, selecting approximately 7,275 hadiths from over 600,000 narrations he examined. His strict conditions for accepting a hadith — requiring narrator continuity, reliable memory, and confirmed meeting between narrators — make it the most rigorously authenticated hadith collection in Islamic scholarship.
Imam al-Bukhari would perform ghusl and pray two rak'ahs before recording each hadith. Sahih al-Bukhari is universally regarded as the most authentic book after the Quran.
