حَدَّثَنَا قَيْسُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ
English Translation
Telah bercerita kepada kami [Qais bin Hafsh] telah bercerita kepada kami [Khalid bin Al Harits] telah bercerita kepada kami [Syu'bah] dari [Abu at-Tayyah] berkata, aku mendengar [Anas binMalik] dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: ""Kuda, pada ubun-ubunnya senantiasa ada kebaikan".

Imam al-Bukhari dedicated 16 years to compiling Sahih al-Bukhari, selecting approximately 7,275 hadiths from over 600,000 narrations he examined. His strict conditions for accepting a hadith — requiring narrator continuity, reliable memory, and confirmed meeting between narrators — make it the most rigorously authenticated hadith collection in Islamic scholarship.
Imam al-Bukhari would perform ghusl and pray two rak'ahs before recording each hadith. Sahih al-Bukhari is universally regarded as the most authentic book after the Quran.
