حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَسَأَلْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ عَنْ الْقُنُوتِ فَقَالَ قَنَتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Basysyar] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdul Wahhab] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ayyub] dari [Muhammad] ia berkata, "Aku bertanya kepada [Anas bin Malik] tentang qunut, maka ia pun menjawab, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melakukan qunut setelah rukuk. "

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
