حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَظِيمِ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْأَسْنَانُ سَوَاءٌ الثَّنِيَّةُ وَالضِّرْسُ سَوَاءٌ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abbas bin Abdul 'Azhim Al'Anbari], telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdus Shamad bin Abdul Warits] Telah menceritakan kepadaku [Syu'bah] dari [Qatadah] dari [Ikrimah] dari [Ibnu Abbas], sesungguhnya Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Gigi-gigi sama saja diyatnya, gigi bagian depan dan gigi geraham sama saja."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
