حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَهَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْحَقَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ سُبْحَانَهُ الْكِبْرِيَاءُ رِدَائِي وَالْعَظَمَةُ إِزَارِي فَمَنْ نَازَعَنِي وَاحِدًا مِنْهُمَا أَلْقَيْتُهُ فِي النَّارِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdullah bin Sa'id] dan [Harun bin Ishaq] keduanya berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdurrahman Al Muharibi] dari ['Atha bin As Saib] dari [Sa'id bin Jubair] dari [Ibnu Abbas] dia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Allah 'azza wajalla berfirman: 'Kesombongan adalah pakaian-Ku, sedangkan kebesaran adalah selendang-Ku, maka siapa saja yang mencabut salah satu dari dua hal, itu maka ia akan Aku lemparkan ke neraka."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
