حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ عَنْ الثَّوْبِ يُصِيبُهُ الْمَنِيُّ أَنَغْسِلُهُ أَوْ نَغْسِلُ الثَّوْبَ كُلَّهُ قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصِيبُ ثَوْبَهُ فَيَغْسِلُهُ مِنْ ثَوْبِهِ ثُمَّ يَخْرُجُ فِي ثَوْبِهِ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَأَنَا أَرَى أَثَرَ الْغَسْلِ فِيهِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami ['Abdah bin Sulaiman] dari ['Amru bin Maimun] ia berkata; Aku bertanya kepada [Sulaiman bin Yasar] tentang kain yang terkena mani, apakah kami cukup mencuci bekasnya atau mencuci kain seluruhnya? Maka Sulaiman menjawab; [Aisyah] berkata; "Kain Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam terkena mani, lalu beliau mencuci bekas mani pada kain tersebut. Setelah itu beliau keluar shalat dan aku masih melihat bekas cuciannya tersebut."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
