و حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِسْمَعِيلَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا طَافَ فِي الْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ أَوَّلَ مَا يَقْدَمُ فَإِنَّهُ يَسْعَى ثَلَاثَةَ أَطْوَافٍ بِالْبَيْتِ ثُمَّ يَمْشِي أَرْبَعَةً ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي سَجْدَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ يَطُوفُ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ
English Translation
Dan Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Abbad] Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hatim bin Isma'il] dari [Musa bin Uqbah] dari [Nafi'] dari [Ibnu Umar] bahwa; Apabila Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melakukan thawaf qudum untuk haji dan umrah, beliau berlari-lari kecil tiga kali putaran dan berjalan empat kali putaran. Kemudian beliau shalat dua raka'at (di Maqam Ibrahim) dan sesudah itu sa'i antara Shafa dan Marwa."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
