حَدَّثَنَا هَدَّابُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ قَالَقُلْنَا لِأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَيُّ اللِّبَاسِ كَانَ أَحَبَّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ أَعْجَبَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْحِبَرَةُ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Haddab bin Khalid]; Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hammam]; Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Qatadah] ia berkata; "Aku bertanya kepada [Anas bin Malik] pakaian apakah yang disukai atau di kagumi oleh Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam? Dia menjawab; 'Hibarah' (Pakaian yang terbuat dari kapas atau katun)."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
