و حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى التَّمِيمِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْإِنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيُحِبُّ التَّيَمُّنَ فِي طُهُورِهِ إِذَا تَطَهَّرَ وَفِي تَرَجُّلِهِ إِذَا تَرَجَّلَ وَفِي انْتِعَالِهِ إِذَا انْتَعَلَ
English Translation
Dan telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yahya bin Yahya at-Tamimi] telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Abu al-Ahwash] dari [Asy'ats] dari [bapaknya] dari [Masruq] dari [Aisyah] dia berkata, "Rasulullah menyukai mendahulukan bagian kanan dalam bersucinya apabila beliau bersuci, dalam menyikat rambutnya apabila beliau menyikat rambut dan dalam memakai sandalnya apabila beliau memakai sandal."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
