حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِ الْوَزَغِ وَسَمَّاهُ فُوَيْسِقًا
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ishaq bin Ibrahim] dan ['Abdu bin Humaid] keduanya berkata; Telah mengabarkan kepada kami ['Abdur Razzaq]; Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Ma'mar] dari [Az Zuhri] dari ['Amir bin Sa'd] dari [Bapaknya] bahwa Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam memerintahkan agar membunuh Al Wazagh (cecak) dan beliau memberi nama Fuwaisiq (si fasik kecil)."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
