حَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ أَنَا أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِابْنِ مَرْيَمَ الْأَنْبِيَاءُ أَوْلَادُ عَلَّاتٍ وَلَيْسَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ نَبِيٌّ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepadaku [Harmalah bin Yahya]; Telah mengabarkan kepadaku [Ibnu Wahb]; Telah mengabarkan kepadaku [Yunus] dari [Ibnu Syihab] bahwa [Abu Salamah bin 'Abdur Rahman]; Telah menceritakan kepadanya bahwa [Abu Hurairah] Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Aku adalah orang yang paling berhak atas diri Isa, para Nabi adalah satu saudara dari satu bapak (Adam), dan antara aku dengan Isa 'Alaihis Salam tidak ada seorang Nabi pun."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
