و حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَا أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِعِيسَى الْأَنْبِيَاءُ أَبْنَاءُ عَلَّاتٍ وَلَيْسَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ عِيسَى نَبِيٌّ
English Translation
Dan telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah]; Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Daud 'Umar bin Sa'd] dari [Sufyan] dari [Abu Az Zinad] dari [Al A'raj] dari [Abu Salamah] dari [Abu Hurairah] dia berkata; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Aku adalah orang yang paling berhak atas diri Isa, para Nabi adalah satu saudara dari satu bapak (Adam), dan antara aku dengan Isa 'Alaihis Salam tidak ada seorang Nabi pun."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
