قَالَ عَمْرٌو وَحَدَّثَنِي بُكَيْرُ بْنُ الْأَشَجِّ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَكَلَ عِنْدَهَا كَتِفًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْقَالَ عَمْرٌو حَدَّثَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِذَلِكَ
English Translation
Berkata [Amru] dan telah menceritakan kepada kami [Bukair bin Al Asyajj] dari [Kuraib, maula Ibnu Abbas] dari [Maimunah, istri Nabi Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam] bahwa Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam makan pundak (kambing) di sisinya, kemudian shalat tanpa berwudhu lagi. Berkata [Amru] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ja'far bin Rabi'ah] dari [Ya'kub bin Al Asyajj] dari [Kuraib, maula Ibnu Abbas] dari [Maimunah, istri Nabi] dengan hal tersebut.

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
