و حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ أَبِي يُونُسَ مَوْلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَعَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ نُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ عَلَى الْعَدُوِّ وَأُوتِيتُ جَوَامِعَ الْكَلِمِ وَبَيْنَمَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ أُتِيتُ بِمَفَاتِيحِ خَزَائِنِ الْأَرْضِ فَوُضِعَتْ فِي يَدَيَّ
English Translation
Dan telah menceritakan kepadaku [Abu ath-Thahir] telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Ibnu Wahb] dari [Amru bin al-Harits] dari [Abu Yunus, maula Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu'anhu] bahwasanya dia telah menceritakan kepadanya dari [Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu'anhu] dari Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bahwa beliau bersabda, "Aku ditolong dengan rasa takut (yang dihunjamkan) di dada musuh-musuhku, aku diberi Jawami' al-Kalim, ketika aku tidur maka aku diberi kunci-kunci gudang penyimpanan bumi, lalu diletakkan di kedua tanganku."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
