أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ شُمَيْلٍ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ الْحَكَمِ وَمُغِيرَةُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ صَلَّى بِهِمْ الظُّهْرَ خَمْسًا فَقَالُوا إِنَّكَ صَلَّيْتَ خَمْسًا فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ مَا سَلَّمَ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami ['Ubdah bin 'Abdurrahim] dia berkata; telah memberitakan kepada kami [Ibnu Syumail] dia berkata; telah memberitakan kepada kami [Syu'bah] dari [Al Hakim] dan [Mughirah] dari [Ibrahim] dari [Alqamah] dari ['Abdullah] dari Nabi Shallallahu'alaihi wasallam, bahwa beliau pernah shalat zhuhur lima rakaat bersama para sahabat, maka para sahabat berkata; "Engkau telah mengerjakan shalat lima rakaat! ' Lalu beliau sujud dua kali setelah salam sambil duduk.

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
