أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ خَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْكَسَفَتْ الشَّمْسُ فِي حَيَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَامَ فَكَبَّرَ وَصَفَّ النَّاسُ وَرَاءَهُ فَاسْتَكْمَلَ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ وَأَرْبَعَ سَجَدَاتٍ وَانْجَلَتْ الشَّمْسُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَنْصَرِفَ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Khalid bin Khali] dia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Bisyr bin Syu'aib] dari [bapaknya] dari [Az Zuhri] dia berkata; telah mengabarkan kepadaku ['Urwah bin Az Zubair] bahwasanya ['Aisyah] -istri Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam- berkata; "-Ketika- terjadi gerhana pada masa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, beliau keluar menuju Masjid, kemudian berdiri dan bertakbir, maka orang-orang membuat shaf di belakang beliau. Beliau shalat empat kali ruku' dan empat kali sujud, sementara gerhana telah terang (usai) sebelum beliau selesai shalat."

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
