أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْخَسَفَتْ الشَّمْسُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنُودِيَ الصَّلَاةُ جَامِعَةٌ فَاجْتَمَعَ النَّاسُ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ فِي رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَأَرْبَعَ سَجَدَاتٍ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Ishaq bin Ibrahim] dia berkata; Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Walid bin Muslim] dari [Al Auza'i] dari [Az Zuhri] dari ['Urwah] dari ['Aisyah] dia berkata; "Pada masa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam pernah terjadi gerhana matahari, lalu diserukan; 'Ash-Shalatu Jami'ah' (mari kita dirikan shalat bersama), maka manusia berkumpul. Lalu beliau shalat bersama mereka empat ruku' dan empat sujud dalam dua rakaat."

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
