أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ وَسُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ عِرَاكِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْسَ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِ فِي عَبْدِهِ وَلَا فَرَسِهِ صَدَقَةٌ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Muhammad bin 'Abdullah bin Al Mubarak] dia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Waki'] dari [Syu'bah] dan [Sufyan] dari ['Abdullah bin Dinar] dari [Sulaiman bin Yasar] dari ['Irak bin Malik] dari [Abu Hurairah] dia berkata; "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: 'Tidak wajib zakat atas seorang muslim pada budak dan kudanya'."

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
