أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْحَلِفُ مَنْفَقَةٌ لِلسِّلْعَةِ مَمْحَقَةٌ لِلْكَسْبِ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Ahmad bin 'Amr bin As Sarh], ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibnu Wahb] dari [Yunus] dari [Ibnu Syihab] dari [Sa'id bin Al Musayyab] dari [Abu Hurairah] dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam beliau bersabda: "Sumpah akan melariskan barang dagangan dan menghilangkan kelarisannya dalam sangkaan orang yang bersumpah."

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
