حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْيَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ{ وَالْأَرْضُ جَمِيعًا قَبْضَتُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَالسَّمَوَاتُ مَطْوِيَّاتٌ بِيَمِينِهِ }فَأَيْنَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ يَوْمَئِذٍ قَالَ عَلَى الصِّرَاطِ يَا عَائِشَةُهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibnu Abi Umar] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Sufyan] dari [Dawud bin Abu Hind] dari [Asy Sya'bi] dari [Masruq] dari [Aisyah] ia berkata: Wahai Rasulullah, "Padahal bumi seluruhnya dalam genggamanNya pada hari kiamat dan langit digulung dengan tangan kananNya." (Az Zumar: 67) Saat itu orang-orang mu`min dimana? beliau menjawab: "Di atas jembatan wahai Aisyah." Hadits ini hasan shahih.

Imam at-Tirmidhi was a student of Imam al-Bukhari and Abu Dawud. His collection is distinctive for including the grading (hasan, sahih, da'if) of each hadith alongside notes on which madhab (legal school) relies on it — making it both a hadith collection and a work of hadith criticism.
Jami' at-Tirmidhi is the only collection in the Kutub al-Sittah where the compiler grades every hadith himself, notes scholarly differences, and indicates legal usage.
