حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَمَّارٍ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَجَلِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ حَفْصٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَأَنَّهُ خَرَجَ فِي يَوْمِ عِيدٍ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ قَبْلَهَا وَلَا بَعْدَهَا وَذَكَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَعَلَهُقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu 'Amar Al Husain bin Huraits] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Waki'] dari [Aban bin Abdullah Al Bajali] dari [Abu Bakar bin Hafsh] dia adalah Ibnu Umar bin Sa'ad bin Abu Waqash, dari [Ibnu Umar] bahwa dia keluar (menuju tempat shalat) pada hari raya id, dengan tidak mengerjakan shalat sebelumnya maupun setelahnya. Dia menyebutkan bahwa Nabi Shallahu 'alaihi wa sallam mengerjakan seperti itu. Abu Isa berkata, ini adalah hadits hasab shahih.

Imam at-Tirmidhi was a student of Imam al-Bukhari and Abu Dawud. His collection is distinctive for including the grading (hasan, sahih, da'if) of each hadith alongside notes on which madhab (legal school) relies on it — making it both a hadith collection and a work of hadith criticism.
Jami' at-Tirmidhi is the only collection in the Kutub al-Sittah where the compiler grades every hadith himself, notes scholarly differences, and indicates legal usage.
