أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُصْعَبٍ الْمَدَنِيُّ قِرَاءَةً عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ عِمْرَانَ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَرَأَ فِي رَكْعَتَيْ الطَّوَافِ بِسُورَتَيْ الْإِخْلَاصِ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ وَقُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
English Translation
telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Mushab Al Madani] secara qira'ah, dari [Abdul Aziz bin Imran] dari [Ja'far bin Muhammad] dari [Ayahnya] dari [Jabir bin Abdullah] bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam membaca pada dua reka'at (pada shalat setelah) thowaf dengan dua surat Ikhlash yaitu; "QUL YA AYYUHAL KAFIRUN (Wahai orang kafir) dan QUL HUWA ALLAHU AHAD (Katakanlah! Dialah Allah Yang Maha Esa)."

Imam at-Tirmidhi was a student of Imam al-Bukhari and Abu Dawud. His collection is distinctive for including the grading (hasan, sahih, da'if) of each hadith alongside notes on which madhab (legal school) relies on it — making it both a hadith collection and a work of hadith criticism.
Jami' at-Tirmidhi is the only collection in the Kutub al-Sittah where the compiler grades every hadith himself, notes scholarly differences, and indicates legal usage.
