حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي يَزِيدَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُاأَنَا مِمَّنْ قَدَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي ضَعَفَةِ أَهْلِهِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Sufyan bin Uyainah] Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ubaidullah bin Abu Yazid] bahwa ia mendengar [Ibnu Abbas] berkata; "Aku termasuk yang didahulukan (untuk berangkat dari Muzdalifah) oleh Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam di antara anggota keluarganya."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
