أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْإِنْ كُنْتُ لَأَفْتِلُ قَلَائِدَ هَدْيِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَيُخْرَجُ بِالْهَدْيِ مُقَلَّدًا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُقِيمٌ مَا يَمْتَنِعُ مِنْ نِسَائِهِ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Qutaibah], ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Al Ahwash] dari [Abu Ishaq] dari [Al Aswad] dari [Aisyah], ia berkata; sungguh saya pernah menganyam beberapa kalung hewan kurban Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, dan hewan kurban tersebut dikeluarkan dalam keadaan diberi kalung, dan Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam tidak menahan dari para isterinya.

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
