﴾ 30 ﴿وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيْكُم مِّن سُلْطَٰنٍۭ ۖ بَلْ كُنتُمْ قَوْمًۭا طَٰغِينَ
English Translation (Muhammad Asad)
Moreover, we had no power at all over you: nay, you were people filled with overweening arrogance!
